Collection: Aurore Bachelet

We tasted Aurore Bachelet's new vintage at Wine Paris and were blown away by the quality of the 2024 whites and the finesse of the reds. Special mention goes to the top white wines from the estate, which were particularly successful.

Aurore Bachelet - Marvis Wine Club

Based in Santenay, Aurore Bachelet founded her estate in 2018 after several years of experience with Arnaud Ente, Benjamin Leroux and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. She produces highly personal wines from terroirs spread across the southern Côte de Beaune (Santenay, Maranges, Saint-Aubin, Meursault, Pommard) and the Hautes Côtes de Beaune.
Viticulture is carried out with respect for living organisms, using organic practices without certification. The estate's philosophy: to preserve the energy and tension of the wines by limiting intervention.
In the cellar, vinification is spontaneous, extractions are very gentle, and aging is carefully controlled in containers of varying sizes with little new oak for 12 months. The white wines combine purity, density, and salinity, while the reds are characterized by their balance between crisp fruit and freshness.

"A winemaker to watch very closely. The whites are straightforward, balanced, and already expressive. The reds offer a finesse not always expected in these appellations." — La Revue du Vin de France, 2023
