Givry is a magnificent appellation that produces intense wines with beautiful aromatic complexity. In southern Burgundy, the grapes ripen faster than in the rest of the region, while remaining fresh thanks to the high altitude. François Lumpp's wines are characterized by balance, aromatic complexity, and a long finish. He is a renowned winemaker, celebrated for his mastery of aging, which never reveals the presence of new oak, despite the use of both red and white wines. The Premier Cru vineyards are planted on a limestone slab and aged in barrels for nearly 18 months. The estate offers a unique collection of Premier Cru wines.
