The red wines are among the best tasted from this appellation this year, and the whites are equally impressive. A special mention goes to Monts Damnés, which confirms its status as a unique cru within Sancerre. All wines are certified organic starting with the 2023 vintage.

Vincent Delaporte - Marvis Wine Club

Domaine Delaporte, located in the heart of the village of Chavignol in the Sancerre region, is a family estate passed down through generations since the 17th century. Since 2010, Matthieu Delaporte, grandson of Vincent Delaporte, has managed the estate with a modern vision while respecting tradition. The vineyard extends across plots that are predominantly south-facing, benefiting from soils composed of "caillottes" (small pieces of Oxfordian limestone) and "silex" (clay-siliceous soils). This diversity of terroirs allows for the production of wines that faithfully reflect the specific characteristics of each plot. The estate is renowned for its pursuit of precision, balance, and complexity in each of its cuvées, thus offering wines marked by pronounced minerality, controlled power, and vibrant freshness.
