One of the greatest "climats" north of the Côte, shared with Gérin, Guigal, etc. Here, there are few terraces but extremely steep vines on a powerful schistous terroir composed of iron oxides, which dominates the Rhône and is therefore very difficult to work. Long aging refines a Landonne characterized by very ripe grapes and a licorice finish.

"Dark and captivating, opening with aromas of black cherry compote, black plum, crushed violet, and graphite, enhanced by vegetal nuances. On the palate, the remarkably intense texture unfolds with an aromatic concentration sustained by a vivifying freshness that refines its balance. Complex and elegant, this 2023 vintage concludes with a long, elegant, and remarkably pure finish. Domaine Rostaing
Recherché pour son style classique et discret, le Domaine Rostaing s’impose comme une valeur sûre en Côte-Rôtie. Au nord, la Côte Brune repose sur des sols argilo-ferreux profonds et donne des vins structurés et puissants. Au sud, la Côte Blonde sur substrat granitique exprime davantage la délicatesse et l’harmonie.
Petit rendement, terroirs mythiques, régularité impressionnante : le Domaine Rostaing incarne la grande tradition rhodanienne, sobre, raffinée et taillée pour vieillir.
