Collection: Thivin Castle

The 2023 vintage comes from one of the region's finest estates, which we've been following since the 2016 vintage. A particularly successful year, yielding highly aromatic, elegant, and profound wines... Words fail us when tasting the estate's flagship wines: Chapelle, Godefroy, and Zaccharie. These wines will become true treasures in your cellar after a few years of aging.

Château Thivin - Marvis Wine Club

In Beaujolais and more precisely on Mont Brouilly, the Geoffray family has been making Gamay wine at Château Thivin since 1877. Since then, successive generations have shaped the image and aura of the estate: respect for the vine by limiting the use of herbicides, plowing the rows.
The grapes are harvested by hand, and vinification is carefully carried out using gravity in the estate's multi-level winery. Maceration lasts between 13 and 15 days and is partially done with whole bunches, followed by gentle pressing with a pneumatic press. The wine is then aged in Burgundy barrels for 10 months, allowing it to develop its full complexity and aromatic richness.
