Collection: Commando G

For lovers of red wines with southern aromas but elegant profiles reminiscent of Burgundy, the Comando G estate in Spain offers a range of Grenache wines that are intense, floral, and surprisingly delicate. We offer two wines from the 2021 vintage, ready to be enjoyed now: La Bruja de Rozas and Rozas.

Founded in 2008 by Fernando García and Daniel Gómez Landi , Comando G originated in the Sierra de Gredos , a granite massif located west of Madrid. The project is structured around plots of century-old vines , often isolated, situated between 800 and 1,200 meters above sea level , on predominantly granite soils.

From its earliest vintages, Comando G adopted a hierarchical, plot-by-plot approach , inspired by Burgundian classifications: village wines, Premier Crus, and major lieux-dits. This approach aims to reveal the unique character of each site rather than a uniform estate style. Often compared to the great Grenaches of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Comando G remains an iconic example of modern Spanish winemaking.
