Collection: Danjou-Banessy

Velvety, complex wines with delicately floral aromas for the reds: this is precisely the unique character that the Danjou brothers have managed to create in this Pyrenean valley of Espira d'Agly by developing a very demanding viticulture, the antithesis of the region: very low yields, vinification by grape variety in order to restore the prestige of Cinsault, Carignan, Mourvèdre, etc.

Danjou-Banessy

The estate is unique in that it sits on black soils that release some of their heat at night and limit it during the day. Like high-altitude terroirs, it is this soil that allows the Danjou brothers to produce such fine wines. The result is evident in the glass: smooth tannins in the reds, but great aromatic concentration, even in the first vintage.
