Collection: Bachelet-Monnot

In January 2005, after numerous trips in France and abroad, brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet founded Domaine Bachelet-Monnot. Located on 10 hectares between the communes of Maranges, Santenay and Puligny-Montrachet, this estate reflects their commitment to producing exceptional wines in harmony with nature.
They quickly adopted a demanding and environmentally conscious approach to winemaking: tilling the soil, eliminating herbicides, and limiting yields. All grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, thus guaranteeing the quality of the wines.
Domaine Bachelet-Monnot distinguishes itself through the use of specific techniques tailored to each vineyard site. The combined use of larger barrels and traditional casks helps to mitigate the impact of oak on the wines' aromatic profile. The Maranges reds, for example, are made with a small proportion of whole clusters and then aged for 12 months in 350L casks to avoid excessive oak influence, followed by six to eight months on the lees in tanks before bottling.
Since its creation, the estate has continued to climb the ladder of excellence and rarity, with each vintage surpassing the previous one.
