After a rather sunny 2022, we return to a 2023 vintage of great classicism with very fine balance in both colors. A beautiful mineral structure that appeals to Sauvignon lovers and vibrant fruit in the Noue red.

Domaine Claude Riffault, located in Sancerre, is a leading name in the appellation, alongside prestigious estates such as Pinard, Cotat, and Vacheron. Its ability to produce wines of exceptional aging potential allows them to mature in the cellar for over a decade.
The majority of the estate's vines are planted on soft limestone soils, known as "Terres Blanches," complemented by a few plots on flint. Drawing on his training in Burgundy, Stéphane Riffault has mastered the art of oak aging, thus elevating the Sauvignon Blanc grape. His wines are distinguished by their finesse and minerality, never heavy, and precisely express the typicity of their terroirs. This precision and consistent quality earned the estate the title of Winemaker of the Year in 2020, awarded by Bettane+Desseauve.
