Collection: Henry Pellé
During our latest tasting, we selected five wines from the 2023 vintage, particularly successful from Paul-Henry Pellé. The house style remains unchanged: precision, elegance, and freshness .
👉 For Pinot Noir lovers , the Morogues cuvée in 2023 offers a floral and delicate expression, a historical signature of the estate.
👉 On the Sauvignon side , the Carroir parcel confirms its potential on a sunny vintage, with remarkable tension and a mouthwatering finish.
Domaine Henry Pellé is located in Morogues, at the eastern end of the Loire Valley, in the heart of the Menetou-Salon appellation. The vineyard stretches across clay-limestone slopes composed of Kimmeridgian marl, geologically similar to those of Sancerre and Chablis, at an altitude of 350 meters. Founded by Henry Pellé, the estate is now managed by his grandson, Paul-Henry Pellé, who took over in 2007.
The red wines, made from Pinot Noir, are distinguished by their finesse, elegance, and floral notes, far removed from the Burgundian style. The white wines, produced exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc, exhibit great precision and an aging potential easily exceeding a decade.
The estate is certified in organic agriculture and managed according to biodynamic principles.
"The emphasis on single-vineyard wines and the mastery of oak aging, increasingly using large containers (foudres and vats), contribute to the excellence of the estate" – Bettane & Desseauve
